My real estate career got started initially with investment in rental properties that included hands-on management of those properties as well. Shortly thereafter, I acquired my license as an agent in 2002. Learning from experience, it didn't take long before I realized the complexities and risks associated with real estate transactions. Continuing education has been a priority for me ever since! I believe a complete and current understanding of the process is the best way to guide my clients to successful, sound real estate transactions…to find a home they love and make a great investment decision.
In addition to achieving my Real Estate Broker license (less than 10% of REALTORS® hold a brokerage license in Pennsylvania), I've also attained several other designations including Certified Residential Specialist, Accredited Buyer's Representative, and Seller Representative Specialist. I strongly believe that buyers and sellers have the right to be represented in the home sale process by an experienced, competent professional working only in their best interests.
There are few hurdles I haven't tackled. My experiences as a property owner, property manager, and real estate broker have provided me with the skills necessary to work through even the most difficult transactions. Having a solid understanding on how to navigate the process of buying or selling a home, my clients can be confident that I will always advocate on their behalf and won't leave anything on the table.
The most rewarding aspect of the real estate business for me is seeing that my clients are happy with the outcome, thrilled with their decision, and assured that they got the best deal possible.
I'm a Pittsburgh girl that graduated from Indiana University of PA with a degree in Communication & English. During college and early in my professional life, I found the most personal fulfillment came from engaging and interacting with a variety of people and using creative approaches to solving problems.
My introduction to real estate was through a small company that managed property transactions for commercial entities. I knew immediately that the fast-paced dynamic of a hands-on environment which allowed for the development and application of a broad range of skills was an excellent fit for me. It didn’t take long for me to recognize that I derived great satisfaction when I successfully helped a client as well. Transitioning to a career in real estate would allow me to combine the technical knowledge I’d gained with the personal elements of making connections with people and building relationships. I quickly fell in love with helping people find their first home or their forever home!
Working with the Bierker Group is allowing me to have the flexibility I need to raise my children, to keep my skills sharp and current, and to continue my growth and education in the field of real estate. Our team is based around a core set of values and principles to which I personally subscribe. These standards translate to the uniform goal of exceeding expectations for our clients.
